Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations in eligible areas to attract visitors and promote tourism. Funding is intended to increase local economic activity. Applicants may request funds to support a one-time tourism event, to support the year-round promotion of an organization or multiple events, or for capital improvements. The purpose of this program is to increase tourism in Grant County.
Eligible Activities: This grant program is limited to promotional activities which draw tourists, as defined below per RCW 67.28.080, meaning:
Allowable Uses of Funds: Allowable uses for the lodging tax funds are governed by RCW 67.28.1816 which states: Lodging tax revenues under this chapter may be used, directly by any municipality or indirectly through a convention and visitors bureau or destination marketing organization for:

Grant County intends to contract with selected organizations by mid-January 2021. Contracts will be for January 1 – December 31, 2021.
