Grants of up to $5,000 and grants of up to $20,000 per year to Greensburg, Pennsylvania nonprofits for program support, physical items, and small scale projects, as well as capital and renovation projects benefiting the local community. Funding is available for two separate funds, the Small Grants Program and the Community Impact Program.

Small Grants are intended to provide Greensburg nonprofits with the unique opportunity to request funds for tangible items, program support, and small scale projects. Small Grants items might include small scale technology needs, personal care items for shelters or housing programs, food purchases for feeding programs, educational supplies for day-care or schools, small renovation or improvement projects.

Community Impact Grants are intended to provide Greensburg nonprofits with the opportunity to present requests for capital projects, renovation projects, and program delivery. Capital and program requests must be specific in nature and the project or campaign must already be underway. Collaborative funding partnerships must be demonstrated, with secured and pending awards listed.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Small Grants Request amounts will be $5,000 or below.

Community Impact Grants are between $5,000 and $20,000 per year. Multiyear requests may be made up to a maximum of $40,000.

Term of Contract:

Multiyear requests may be made.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Funding is limited to organizations in the 15601 zip code or to support programming or initiatives that primarily serve the 15601 zip code.

Small Grants Requests:
- Any type of organization; arts, human services, education, environment etc. may apply.

Community Impact Requests:
- General operating costs will be not funded.
- Greensburg Foundation will not provide more than 33% of the total cost of the project.
- Collaborative funding partnerships must be demonstrated, with secured and pending awards listed.
