Grant Description

Awards to USA and territories K-12 students for a fictional or documentary short film of up to 3 minutes on the topic "The Impact of Giving Back." Finalists will have their films shown at the White House and will be presented with a certificate celebrating their achievement.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The competition is only open to students enrolled in grades K-12 in the United States and U.S. territories who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry and the parent or legal guardian of a student below the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence.

Pre-Application Information:

To submit an entry, upload your video entry to YouTube, then go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/FilmFestival to fill out the entry form.

The person submitting the film must be at least 18, so they can be a high school student of that age, a parent, teacher, or guardian.
