Awards to California educators and teams of educators in eligible regions to recognize innovative curricula. Applicants must register at least one day prior to the application deadline. Eligible applicants are educators in K-12 public, private, and charter schools. The purpose of this program is to spread excellent teaching ideas throughout the county of Ventura.
This program highlights educational innovation, creativity, student learning, and rewards educators for thinking outside the box. Further, the program attracts public attention to the positive aspects of the educational system.
IMPACT II puts cutting-edge classroom projects into the mainstream, turning students on to learning. IMPACT II enables excellent teaching ideas to reach all teachers in the county and raises community awareness of exemplary classroom practices. IMPACT II boosts teacher morale by recognizing innovative teaching as well as enhancing teacher professionalism through local/national training and teacher presentations.
