Grants to North Texas nonprofit organizations, schools, and public agencies for educational programs. A letter of inquiry is due by March 31, 2018. Funding is intended for the following innovative educational programs: developing effective curriculum for pre-kindergarten readiness programs, implementing character development, and mentor programs designed to prepare students for a successful and positive life.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) and be classified as a public charity under section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a qualified public entity as described in section 170(c) of the Code.

The Miles Foundation does not award grants to individuals, international organizations, capital programs, or political organizations.

Pre-Application Information:

The Miles Foundation 2018 Grant Cycle will open on March 1, 2018.

March 1, 2018 – LOI submission period opens
March 31, 2018 – LOI submission period closes
April 16, 2018 – Approved LOI’s may begin submitting full application
May 14, 2018 – Applications due and grant review/due diligence begins
August 2018 – Applicants notified of decisions
