Awards of $1,500 to Utah public school teachers to recognize exceptional efforts in the classroom that have made a positive significant impact on one or more students. Winners will be featured in a video documentary and honored an annual banquet and awards ceremony.

To apply, applicants must briefly describe how the educator exemplifies 'Excellence in Teaching' with specific examples.

Nominations are accepted for licensed educators who are currently working in a Utah public school.

Pre-Application Information:

- Nominations for the 2018 Excellence in Teaching Awards must be submitted or postmarked by December 6, 2018.
- Winners are then carefully chosen by the selection committee and KUED will film the winners and their nominators video profiles in early 2019.
- Awards will be presented at the KeyBank Superstars in Education banquet in May 2019.
