Grants of up to $2,000 to Washington individual artists and organizations in eligible regions for public arts projects. The purpose of funding is to encourage the growth and accessibility of arts programs and to give artists opportunities to create new work to share with the community. Programs must benefit the residents of the City of Auburn.

Term of Contract:

Projects from January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

-Artists and organizations in Auburn, Washington may apply.
-Proposed projects must take place within the city limits of Auburn and serve/be completely accessible to all residents of Auburn.

-Projects must comply with all regulations of the United States of America, State of Washington, and City of Auburn.
-Private, by-invitation-only, or membership events do not qualify. All events/projects must be open to the general public

Ineligible:
-Scholarships, tuition assistance, or other student support.
-Underwritten project sponsorships, or subsidy of tickets.
-Projects which support religious activities or political organizations
-Projects that exclusively or primarily benefit the membership of the organization, or those
that preclude reasonable access by the general public.
-City of Auburn staff or members of the Auburn Arts Commission are not eligible to apply

Granting committee will meet in November, 2020
