Grants to Jackson County, Wisconsin nonprofit organizations for charitable activities to meet the needs of Black River Falls area residents and to enhance the local quality of life. Funding is intended for the following areas of focus: health services, education, civic projects, social services, and cultural activities.
Grants to be considered are those that meet the charitable needs of:
- A new or innovative nature to fulfill unmet needs
- One-time projects
- Capital improvements
- Equipment needs
- Start-up expenses
- Special programs
- Emergency funding

Any non-profit organization in Jackson County may apply for a grant.
Requests to support endowments, operating expenses, debt repayment, religious purposes, individuals, and lobbying expenses are usually discouraged.
The grant application period is from March 1 through April 15. Applications postmarked after April 15th, or received electronically after 5:00 PM on April 15 will not be accepted.
The announcement of award recipients and the distribution of funds are done in June.
