Grants to Wisconsin nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life for local residents in eligible locations. Areas of focus include health services, education, civic projects, social services, and cultural activities. Funding is intended for applicants providing services in the Black River Falls Area.

Grants to be considered are those that meet charitable needs of:

  • A new or innovative nature to fulfill unmet needs
  • One-time projects
  • Capital improvements
  • Equipment needs
  • Start-up expenses
  • Special programs
  • Emergency funding

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Black River Falls Area Foundation welcomes grant applications from non-profit organizations serving the Black River Falls Area.

Requests to support endowments, operating expenses, debt repayment, religious purposes, individuals, and lobbying expenses are usually discouraged.

Pre-Application Information:

The grant application period is from March 1 through April 15. Applications postmarked after April 15th, or received electronically after 5 PM on April 15th will not be accepted.

The announcement of award recipients and the distribution of funds are done in June.
