Grants to Indiana nonprofit organizations and government agencies for charitable projects benefiting local communities in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support programs and activities that are of importance to area women. Previously funded projects include preventing domestic violence, promoting health and education, and developing life skills in children. Applicants must serve Posey County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Women’s Fund of Posey County welcomes funding requests from non-profit organizations that are tax-exempt under sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code and from governmental agencies serving Posey County. Funding requests from other non-profit organizations to carry out charitable projects or activities in Posey County may be accepted; however, the non-profit may be required to obtain a fiscal sponsor.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications will be accepted from the January announcement date through the March 1, 2022 deadline. Applications submitted after the March deadline will not be considered.

The Women’s Fund Steering Committee will review funding requests and will contact grant applicants for an interview or site visit. Once interviews/site visits have concluded, the Steering Committee will make its recommendations on funding to the Community Foundation Alliance Board of Directors.
