Grants of up to $5,000 to Michigan nonprofit organizations for programs that focus on helping kids through educational and social projects and the provision of scholarships in an eligible county. Priority will be shown to programs and projects that focus on three goals: assisting children of all ages to thrive socially and educationally, helping young adults learn skills required to succeed in later life, and providing support services for at-risk children. This program should benefit the residents of Washtenaw County.
The Rotary Club of Ann Arbor provides the funding and resources necessary to support a broad range of humanitarian efforts close to home and farther afield. A central goal is to support young people, particularly those whose future development is impaired by physical, cultural, emotional, financial and social obstacles. Called “Helping Kids Succeed,” the program actively solicits and awards grants to non-profit organizations.
