Grants to North Carolina nonprofit organizations and public agencies in eligible areas to enhance the quality of life for local residents. Funding is intended for programming and general organizational support. Projects and activities can benefit a single organization, a collaborative initiative, or a system of services that addresses community issues. Eligible programs benefit Gaston County communities.
The Grants Committee and Board give strongest positive consideration to requests that demonstrate “grass roots” community support with a plan for utilizing resources and talents of both the sponsoring organization’s members and the population that would be helped by the requested grant.
