Opportunity for New York businesses in eligible regions to compete for financial support and in-kind services to grow and develop their new start-up venture. Applicants must attend an orientation, create an account, and submit a preliminary entry form prior to applying. Entrants can win $15,000 to start their business, as well as gain practical insights about starting and growing a business while using the comprehensive small business resources at NYPL’s Business Library (SIBL). Eligible businesses must operate in Manhattan, The Bronx, or Staten Island.
