Grants ranging from $100 to $1,500 to northern Chautauqua County, New York nonprofit community groups for projects that beautify neighborhoods and improve the quality of life for local residents. Projects can include planting trees, holding neighborhood cleanups, and establishing outside lighting on public buildings.

The project should be of a nature that encourages citizen participation and, when completed, will reflect community pride.

$100 - $1,500

Eligible organizations must be community based and not-for-profit, such as garden clubs, service clubs, church groups, civic improvement associations and similar type organizations.

A 1:1 match is required. The match could be in dollars, volunteer hours, supplies, etc.

The Community Pride Program awards grants biennially. Next Deadline: March 1, 2017 (Letter of application must be received at the NCCF office by 4:00 p.m.)

To be considered, submit a letter of interest and request, outlining the necessary information, to include: name of the organization or group making the request, contact person and telephone number, description of the project, cost break-down, location, completion date, and how the matching funds will be raised.
