Grants of $2,000 and $5,000 to South Central Kansas nonprofits, government agencies, churches, and educational institutions for programs and projects in the service area that focus on children's health. Grants of $100 are also available to local K-12 teachers for projects that will enhance the curriculum for their students.

For the purposes of these grants the South Central Kansas service area includes Barber, Comanche, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Rice, and Stafford Counties.

For Community Grants, one recipient from each of SCCF's seven Counties will be selected for each of the two funding categories.

Estimated Size of Grant:

There are two funding categories for Community Grants: Applicants can apply for either $5,000 or $2,000.

Teacher's Grants are $100 each.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Community Grants: These grants are available to nonprofits in the seven County service area. Applicants must provide evidence of nonprofit status: 501(c) 3, government, church, or educational status.

Teacher's $100 Grants: Applicants for Teacher's Grants must be teachers of grades K - 12 in the seven-County service area.

The seven County service area includes Barber, Comanche, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Rice, and Stafford Counties.

Please Note: For Community Grants, if selecting the $5,000 funding category, please note that a 2-4 minute presentation of your grant project/program to the SCCF Board and Grant Committee is required to be considered.
