Grants to Haywood County, North Carolina organizations for programs that benefit local communities. Requests should align with the funding source’s mission, which focuses on the categories of health, income stabilization, and education.

United Way of Haywood County funds programs that:
1. Meet the most important and pressing needs as outlined in the five Funding Council vision statements;
2. Demonstrate impact by having meaningful outcomes that capture the changes for clients served; and
3. Have the financial and organizational capacity to administer the program.

Term of Contract:

This agreement shall begin July 1, 2019, and be in force for a term of twelve (12) months.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Organizations may apply for programs benefitting Haywood County.

United Way does not fund capital expenses for applicant programs.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29th, 2019.
