Grants of up to $250 to Michigan teachers, counselors, and administrators employed in local public or private schools in eligible areas to expand and improve classroom programs. Funding is intended to support instructional enhancements that include new projects and programs, program enhancement within the curriculum framework, expansion of an already existing unit, student awards, special events, artists in residence, and parent involvement programs. Applicants must be located in the Allendale area.

Grant funds must be used for capital supplies that are related to the project or program.

Grants of up to $250 will be awarded.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any teacher, counselor, or administrator employed in a public or private school located in the Allendale area is eligible to apply.

No funding will be provided for field trips. Funds are also not available for general operating expenses, fundraising events, or religious programs that serve, or appear to serve, specific religious faiths.

Pre-Application Information:

The next Teacher Mini-Grant deadline is September 23, 2022. Funding outcomes will be communicated following the Board Meeting on November 9, 2022.

Grants are limited to one per classroom and one per teacher per school year.
