What are the internal operational systems that form the basis of a mutually beneficial volunteer relationship in the association context?

Proposals will be accepted that include research methodologies that most appropriately and efficiently address the research question, including, but not limited to: mixed-methods, qualitative and quantitative designs (interviews, focus groups, case studies, surveys), experimental designs, longitudinal research or other multi-year analyses with staggered deliverables culminating in a final product.
