Grants of up to $20,000 to Connecticut artists, arts organizations, organizations with arts programs, IHEs, artists groups, and municipal arts departments for projects that bring art into the community. March 15 is the deadline for the required Intent to Apply. Eligible proposals create relationships with non-arts stakeholders to create an appreciation of the value of art in respect to community needs, interests, and opportunities.

Tier One – for funding requests from $5,000 up to a maximum of $10,000.
Tier Two – for funding requests that start above $10,000 up to a maximum of $20,000.
Your ACI project proposal must occur during the specified funding period, namely, July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Projects may be completed earlier.
Note: State funds may not be used to cover any expenses incurred before or after the period of the grant, including those costs associated with project planning.
