Mission: Believing that a vibrant arts culture is vital to a thriving community, FCAA enriches the arts through strategic support and financial stewardship.

Vision Statement: FCAA will be the premier philanthropic arts organization in Forsyth County.

Objectives:

  • To develop a broad and diverse audience base for the arts, including public and special audience education about art form.
  • To increase opportunities for Forsyth County arts-providing organizations to perform, present, and exhibit.
  • To support programs that are reflective of Forsyth County's diverse cultural heritage.
  • To increase the artistic, management, marketing, and fundraising capacity of local arts organizations.
  • To support projects with a plan for self-sufficiency.
  • To establish FCAA as an important contributor to the arts community in Forsyth County.

Please note that for the 2022 Grant Cycle, as in 2020 and 2021, in response to the economic challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, FCAA will consider funding essential operational costs that will help an organization remain open; retain an employee; hire a consultant to envision a future operational/strategic plan for your organization; or provide other basic efforts toward the surviving and thriving of the arts in Forsyth County during this time. Also, please note funds may be requested for both operating and artistic expenses, if desired.
