The Judith and Jean Pape Adams Charitable Foundation
Grants to USA nonprofits for research to find a cure for ALS. The Foundation funds research that is innovative, aggressive, and of a high scientific merit. Also encouraged are partnerships and collaborative efforts that propose initiatives to fill gaps not currently being investigated and that involve novel approaches.

The Foundation will not fund multi-year grants, although an organization is permitted to submit an application for continued funding of a research project in the subsequent grant cycle.
Organizations that are exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions to which are deductible under Section170 of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization should qualify as a public charity under Section 509(a)(1) or (a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Organizations are permitted to submit multiple grant requests for different research projects.
The Foundation does not provide funds for support groups, education initiatives, medical equipment, or capital projects.
The next proposal deadline is August 4, 2017. Proposals will be reviewed in November 2017 and distribution of awards will be made prior to the end of December 2017.
