Grants of up to $5,000 to New York nonprofit organizations for programs and initiatives that benefit the community in eligible locations. Preference will be given to proposals in the areas of arts and culture and education and workforce readiness. Applicants must be located or deliver services in Wyoming County.

As a result of the 2012 Needs Assessment, the Wyoming Foundation identified two priorities for its work:

  • To provide educational opportunities to youth, which equip them for future careers.
  • Support and promote arts/cultural opportunities in Wyoming County.

The Foundation will support initiatives and programs that can show maximum positive impact on Wyoming County. For its 2020 competitive grants process, the Wyoming Foundation will give funding preference to grant applications focusing on its two priorities.
