Calgary Foundation - Daryl K. Seaman Canadian Hockey Fund
Grants to Canada nonprofit organizations for a range of activities related to amateur ice hockey and to engage youth in amateur sports of all kinds. Funding is intended to support registered amateur athletic associations, all facets of amateur ice hockey within the country on a nationwide basis, and other general charitable purposes as determined by the Calgary Foundation.
In addition to amateur ice hockey, proposals of interest include new initiatives that encourage young people to learn about, enjoy and play amateur sport of all kinds as well as those that increase equal access and promote participation in community-based amateur sport. Proposals should include plans for long-term sustainability and financial support from the local community as the Fund will not be able to support ongoing operations.
