Grants of up to $5,000 to Canyon, Texas teachers and school staff for professional development. This includes registration, travel, and accommodations for teacher workshops, conferences, and on-campus staff development and consultants.

Standard grant requests: up to $500.
Special departmental/campus grant requests: up to $5,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any full or part-time Canyon ISD employee may apply. Grants may be implemented at the classroom, campus, or district level. Grant recipients of the previous two semesters are ineligible to apply.

Not funded:
- Classroom materials, equipment, or technology
- Student field trips or guest speakers
- Mobile or stationary technology that cannot be supported by the district
- iTunes cards or music
- Refreshments, snacks or meals
- Fundraising materials, including raffle tickets or auction items
- Expenses for staff honoraria, salaries, stipends, or substitute teachers
- Parties
- After-school clubs
- Non-curriculum based programs
- Substitute teachers.

You may fill-in the attached application form, but it must be printed, then either submitted through school mail, hand delivered, or scanned and sent electronically.
