Grants to Ashland County, Ohio nonprofits and other organizations for programs in the areas of health and human services, community progress, education, arts and culture, and the environment. First-time applicants must meet with program staff prior to proposal submission.

Term of Contract:

The duration of this grant is one year. ACCF does not provide multi-year grants. Programs/projects already completed by the September 1 deadline date will not be reviewed.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Nonprofit entities carrying a 501(c)(3) IRS designation, or other qualified organizations, may petition the Foundation for financial assistance in meeting their goals.

Support is not provided for:
- Individual grants
- Operating expenses
- Annual campaigns
- Existing endowment funds
- Cash reserves/debt reduction
- Religious organizations for religious purposes

Pre-Application Information:

First-time applicants are required to interview with the Foundation staff prior to proposal submission. This staff interview to discuss your proposal prior to submission is also available, but not required, for repeat applicants. Please contact the Foundation office to schedule your appointment at least one week prior to submission.

All grant requests must be submitted using the Foundation's Community Grant application form, attached below. Applications are due to ACCF by September 1 each year. Incomplete applications or requests not received or postmarked by the deadline date will not be reviewed.

An interview with the Grants Committee to discuss your grant proposal following submission is available. Please indicate on the application if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity.

Decisions will be made by November 1.
