Ladd and Katherine Hancher Library Foundation
Grants ranging from $2,000 to $40,000 to Texas public libraries for projects that improve library educational services in local communities. Funding is intended to support libraries that serve populations of 50,000 or less. Applicant libraries must demonstrate how projects will address local educational needs and offer measurable outcomes, as well as how the project will be supported beyond the grant year.

Grants will be awarded in the month of October, 2018. All funds must be spent in one year.
- Must be a public library.
- Library must serve a population of 50,000 or less.
- Library must serve the people of Texas.
- Library asking for a grant must be accredited by the Texas State Library.
Funding will not be considered for normal operating expenses, salaries, or employee benefits.
Application deadline: September 1, 2018
Grants will be awarded in the month of October, 2018.
