Grants to Texas nonprofits for programs that favorably impact the status of women and girls in Dallas, Collin, and Denton Counties. Applicants must register to apply by July 6, 2018. Proposals will be accepted in the areas of economic security, leadership and education, women's issues, and health and safety.

- Basic skills and ESL
- Workforce development and earnings
- Economic support (childcare, transitional housing)
- Economic empowerment (entrepreneurship, financial coaching)
- Aging in place/housing for women 75 years and older
Health and Safety
- Violence against women and girls (rape, domestic violence)
- Human trafficking
- Women's reproductive health
- Access to health care
- Mental, emotional, and dental care
Women's Issues
- Legal and civil rights

- Increasing Engagement Programs
- Organizations and/or programs that serve women in suburban areas outside of the City of Dallas
Funding Priorities
- Effective long-term, positive changes in systems that currently prevent women and girls from reaching their full potential
- Expanded choices and opportunities for women and girls
- Evaluation tools that include measurement for effectiveness with clear definitions of program success
- Programs explicitly address the particular and unique needs and challenges of women and girls
- The Foundation also encourages projects developed in consultation and collaboration with other agencies, which promote coordination, cooperation and sharing among organizations.
- Effective use of volunteers, as well as board diversity and involvement, are equally encouraged.
