Awards to Georgia elementary, middle, secondary, and postsecondary teachers of English and language arts to recognize excellence in education. Nominees will be considered in four categories: elementary school (kindergarten through grade 5), middle school (grades 6 through 8), secondary school (grades 9-12), and college.

Awards are given to teachers at the elementary, middle, secondary, and college levels.

Pre-Application Information:

GCTE encourages you to nominate yourself or a colleague for one of the GCTE Teacher of the Year awards to be given at the annual conference in February.

All applicants must submit an information package to GCTE by January 31, 2018, in order to be considered for GCTE’s 2018 Teacher of the Year.
