Awards of up to $10,000 and additional benefits to USA young artists (ages 15-18) to recognize and support achievement in the following disciplines: visual arts, dance, photography, voice, jazz, classical music, writing, theater, design arts, and cinematic arts. In addition to the cash awards, artists will receive training and mentorship, national recognition, and nominations for additional award programs.

-Take master classes with accomplished artists
-Become eligible for nomination as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts
-Receive a lifetime of mentoring and professional support
-Achieve national recognition
-Be a citizen of the United States or permanent resident/green card recipient (copy of documentation is required in the application)
-Be 15-18 years of age or in grades 10–12 on December 1, 2018
-Have not already been named a YoungArts Finalist and previously attended YoungArts Week
Complete the YoungArts application on Acceptd, including required documentation and audition or portfolio materials, by 11:59 PM ET on Friday, October 12, 2018.
Winners are announced, with an official winners list posted to the website, no later than December 1.
Applicants must pay a $35 application fee or get a fee waiver. Fee waivers are available to qualified applicants, which will cover the entire cost of your application fee. To receive a fee waiver, you must upload required documentation.
