Grants of $1,000 to North Carolina teachers in the Fayetteville and Raleigh area to purchase lab supplies, hardware, software, projectors and other equipment, or to sponsor robotics teams. Funding is intended to enhance STEM learning by enabling teachers to implement projects or strengthen the development of students in the science and technology areas.

Last year, the chapter awarded 9 $1,000 grants to schools in the local Fayetteville and Raleigh/Triangle area and 2 $1,000 grants to the Campbell University and Cleveland Community College Robotics Program.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications must be received by March 31, 2019. After applying, if you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Georgia by phone.

Applications are limited to one per teacher.

Teachers and principals will be notified of their grant status prior to June 1st. Winners will be invited to a special luncheon on Wed, August 7, 2019 at Fort Bragg Convention Center, Fort Bragg, NC, where the grants will be presented.

Selection will be competitive, based upon merit, impact and applicability to the STEM fields.
