Grants of $1,000 to Ohio nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to address the needs of local children and youth. Funding is intended for capital campaigns, building and renovation, equipment, project grants, program development, matching and challenge grants, and seed money. Projects and initiatives must benefit the youth of Ashland County.

The Ashland County Foundation's IMPACT Youth Council is charged with the decision-making responsibility of awarding grants annually. The Youth Council offers high school students the opportunity to serve as grantmakers.

Members of the IMPACT Youth Council learn about the needs of youth in Ashland County and then review grant applications from organizations that provide services to meet those needs. The students then decide how grant dollars should be awarded from ACCF’s Youth Empowerment Fund.
