Blue Ridge Electric Members Foundation
Grants to South Carolina nonprofit organizations in eligible counties for programs, projects, and services that focus on the areas of health and wellness, education and youth, economic and community development, and environmental enhancement and quality of life. For the purposes of these grants, eligible counties include Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, Pickens, and a small portion of Spartanburg County.
Organizations should seek grants to provide specific services that benefit others. Applicants will be asked to indicate which of the following categories best matches who or what will benefit from the grant:
- Children and Elderly
- Healthcare and Wellness
- Economic and Community Development
- Emergency Services

Applicants must demonstrate 501(c)(3) IRS nonprofit tax-exempt status.
- Applications for religious or political use will not be reviewed for funding.
- General operating expenses should not be requested.
- Deadline to apply: August 31
- Grant Announcements: Early December
Applications are submitted online. You will receive a confirmation message that your grant was submitted and the email will contain a copy of your application and uploaded documents*. Faxed or mailed applications are not acceptable.
*Additional documents you will be required to upload:
