Grants starting at $50,000 to Canada nonprofits, schools and municipalities to increase children’s opportunities for self-directed play outdoors in all settings including at home, in school, in child care, the community and nature. Letters of Intent are due July 14.
Successful proposals will:
- Impact children and/or youth living in Canada
- Have the potential to inform systemic change (and/or be potentially replicable/scalable to other programs or jurisdictions)
- Address barriers specific to active outdoor play (including policy)
- Include meaningful multi-sectoral engagement and collaboration where appropriate.
