Grants of up to $500 to Massachusetts public school teachers in eligible areas for classroom projects. Eligible projects are related to the subject matter taught by the applicant and benefit a large group of students. Teachers employed in the following areas may apply for funding: Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Wareham, and Plymouth.

Projects must be related to the subject or curriculum taught by the applicant and should be designed to have a broad impact – for an entire class, classes or grade level, or a large subset of students throughout the school as opposed to a small, select group of students. Submissions that foster creative thinking, demonstrate imagination, are reproducible and/or impact many students will be favored.

Teachers throughout Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester, Wareham and Plymouth who are employed as a classroom instructor at any public school are eligible to apply.

Pre-Application Information:

The application period will begin in September and remain open through October 25, 2019. Applications are evaluated each year with a fresh perspective. Previous year’s applicants are encouraged to apply with your new and innovative projects.

Successful applicants will be notified by the end of December, and grants are distributed at a special reception to be held in early 2020. This reception also serves as an opportunity for the K-12 public education community to join together as we seek to encourage the sharing of ideas and best practices.
