Grants to Nebraska public and private agencies for programs that reduce litter and promote recycling. Applications will be considered from qualifying applicant in the following three categories: public education, recycling, and litter cleanup. Proposals demonstrating matching funds will receive favorable consideration.

Grants may be awarded to both public and private entities.

There is no match required for the cleanup category. For the public education and recycling categories, no match is required for public entities, and a 25% match is required for private entities. Matching contributions are encouraged, and have a positive effect on ranking when grant applications are evaluated.

The deadline for the 2018 Litter Reduction and Recycling Incentive Grants awards process is 4:00 PM CDT Wednesday September 13, 2017.
