Recognition to Chicago, Illinois artists and arts organizations to highlight independently produced events in all artistic disciplines in local neighborhoods; encourage tourism and small business development; foster collaboration and creative expression and learning. On July 6 and 8 are informational workshops.
CAM 2015 prioritizes:
- Experimental, innovative projects with a strong and original artistic/creative vision;
- New work (however, submissions will be accepted for both new and existing projects);
- Projects seeking to increase public access to and participation in high-quality arts activities/events (especially underrepresented populations);
- Collaboration (between neighborhoods, genres, demographically, or other).
