Grants to Dekalb County, Indiana nonprofit organizations to support literacy opportunities for children and adults. Preference is given to organizations that use their resources in a cost-effective manner and that address the local literacy needs. Funding is intended to encourage community members to be involved in literacy projects.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Nonprofit organizations that provide literacy programs in DeKalb County, Indiana are eligible to apply.

Pre-Application Information:

Organizations must apply by submitting a one-page letter describing your program(s) and who you serve. Include a specific dollar request and specify that your request is for the DeKalb County Literacy Fund.

Submit your letter to the Community Foundation DeKalb County between August 1 and August 31.
