Grant Description

Grant to a Canada individual conducting an early-stage project or feasibility studies on multiple sclerosis, for operating costs. Funding is intended to motivate researchers to develop innovative research questions, test new ideas, and pursue new approaches to MS research that will have an impact in the field.

Applicants may be involved in either fundamental or applied studies, nonclinical or clinical. Projects can be in patient management, care and rehabilitation.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:
- Have an academic or research appointment which allows the individual to pursue the proposed research project to engage in independent research activities.
- Conduct research within a Canadian institution.
- Engage in independent research activities for the entire duration of the funding and is able to supervise trainees and publish research activities.
