Award of $4,000 to a USA, Canada, or International early-career clinical psychologist to recognize accomplishments and potential within the field. This award recognizes contributions within the first ten years of the individual’s career and encourages continued contributions and growth within the field of clinical psychology.

Accomplishments may take many forms including:
-Promotion of the practice through professional service
-Innovation in service delivery
-Novel application of applied research methodologies to professional practice
-Positive impact on health delivery systems
-Development of creative educational programs for practice
-Other creative activities that advance the service of the profession

Eligibility Requirements
-Be a psychologist with an EdD, PsyD, or PhD from an accredited university
-Nominees no more than ten years post-doctoral degree

Div. 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology) and APF encourage applications from individuals who represent diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability and sexual orientation.

Candidates can be simultaneously considered for multiple awards, although a psychologist may receive only one Div. 12 award in any given year.

No voting members of the Div. 12 board of directors will be eligible to receive awards from the division while serving their term.

Nominations are accepted from self or others. Self-nominations should include at least one external endorsement.
