Grants to California nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, and other government entities for services or programs that address community needs in Indian Wells or the Coachella Valley region. The Funding Source generally accepts requests for new programs, services, or special projects, expansion of existing programs and services, or for the purchase of specific items necessary to provide services.
The City endeavors to support community-based organizations that possess expertise in offering valuable community services and programs that the City does not offer for its own citizens.

The amount of funding can be allocated at any level, and will be determined by committee and approved by the Indian Wells City Council based on the approved City budget for grant funding.
The Agreement is for the period of July 1 through June 30 of the following year. Services must be provided and funds must be disbursed during this time period.
