Grants of up to $5,000 to Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington libraries and community organizations to enhance health and medical communications infrastructure. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis through the final deadline. Applicants must submit an intent to apply well in advance of the deadline.

The 2016 Technology Improvement Award seeks to enhance the capacity of a library or community organization to offer electronic health information services to underserved audiences by supporting the purchase, installation, and/or upgrading of hardware and software.

Funding is available for four awards.

Up to $5,000

The project should be completed by April 30, 2017.

Libraries and community organizations may apply.

Applicants must be members of the NN/LM PNR. Network membership is free and open to institutions interested in providing health information.
