Grants to Florida municipalities, county governments, and other local entities for public recreation projects. Funding is intended to support land acquisition for public outdoor recreational purposes, the development and rehabilitation of land for public outdoor recreational use, and for the renovation or construction of a public recreational trail.

The maximum grant request may not exceed $200,000.
Should the project receive funding, the grantee will have up to three (3) years from the start of the state’s fiscal year in which funds are appropriated to complete the project.
