American Chemical Society (ACS) - Alabama Section
Award to an outstanding Alabama high school chemistry or science teacher working in Central or North-Central Alabama. In the judging criteria, emphasis will be placed on the quality of teaching, ability to inspire and challenge students, demonstration of leadership and active involvement in the teaching profession, extracurricular work, and willingness to keep up-to-date in the field.

Nominations may come from anyone (not limited to ACS members) and can be made for any high school chemistry/science teacher in the Alabama Section of the ACS.
The Alabama Section of the American Chemical Society comprises twenty-nine (29) counties in Central and North-Central Alabama, with its headquarters in Birmingham. Please see the link in Grant Coverage Areas below for a map of the eligible counties.
Nominations are due by April 1st of each year.
