Awards to Maine teachers, parents, administrators, mentors, and community volunteers who have contributed in a significant way to the education of gifted and talented youth. Awards are also made to teachers of gifted students in recognition of excellence in gifted education.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any teacher who is an educator of gifted students is eligible for the Maine Gifted Educator of the Year Award.

Teachers, parents, administrators, mentors, or community volunteers who have contributed in a significant way to the education of gifted and talented youth are eligible for the Maine Exemplary Service Award.

Pre-Application Information:

Awards are presented each year during the MEGAT Fall Conference or NECGT Conference when hosted in Maine.
