Valdosta Junior Service League
Grants of up to $250 to Georgia K-12 teachers to enhance education in public and private schools located in Lowndes County and Valdosta. This program provides teachers with the opportunity to carry out creative projects that supplement the classroom curriculum.
The committee considers three (3) factors in evaluating the application:
-Creativity: Does the project provide a unique and/or creative approach to learning that is different than the everyday experiences in most classrooms?
-Potential to Enhance Learning: How will the project directing impact and enhance specific learning goals?
-Efficient Use of Funds: Is there a clear, efficient plan for the use of each dollar?

The winning projects should be implemented by April 2018.
This program is available to K-12 teachers in the Lowndes and Valdosta School Systems and in the private schools in Valdosta.
The teacher submitting the application must be a classroom teacher who is in daily contact with those students participating in the project. Applications must be submitted by individual teachers, not as a group.
Applications must be postmarked by Friday, August 25th and all money will be awarded by October 10th.
