Grants of up to $10,000 to Minnesota and Wisconsin nonprofit, civic, and community-based organizations in eligible regions for innovative projects in the areas of community service, economic development, education and youth, emergency energy assistance, environment, and disaster relief.

ECE's main office and operations center are located in Braham, MN, with service and/or operations centers in Milaca, MN, Finlayson, MN, Superior, WI, and Wahkon, MN.

The following factors will be considered in the evaluation of all funding requests:
- Potential benefit to area residents and the entire community.
- Level of community support for the program or project.
- Administrative capability of the organization to deliver quality service or programs.
- Results that are predictable and can be evaluated.

Grants will not normally exceed $10,000 for any one group, organization, or charity.

Contributions will generally be made to non-profit, civic or community-based organizations that demonstrate a commitment to enhance the quality of life in the region.

Contributions will generally not be made for:
- Lobbying, political, and religious organizations or highly sensitive/controversial events.
- Fraternal and labor organizations.
- Fundraising dinners, raffles, and other events.
- Individuals.
- Capital fund campaigns.
- National fund drives.
- Advertising.
- Ongoing operational expenses.

Grants will be awarded only one time per year for any organization. Contributions will not be granted to an organization for a project or application that has received funding more than twice consecutively (two years in a row) for the same project/activity.

ECE's main office and operations center are located in Braham, MN, with service and/or operations centers in Milaca, MN, Finlayson, MN, Superior, WI, and Wahkon, MN.

Application deadline is September 18, 2017 before 4 p.m. Applications will be reviewed by the ECE Operation Round Up Trust Board on October 23, 2017.

Grants are looked upon more favorably if other sources have been solicited. This enables the board to determine the legitimacy of the project/event. Letters of recommendation and support from community leaders are strongly encouraged.
