Grants to New Mexico nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for programs and projects that promote healthy outcomes for babies and toddlers. Funding is intended for initiatives that increase awareness of the significance of investing in the early years of life. Eligible activities benefit the residents of Santa Fe.

Fall 2020 funding priorities are:

  1. Increasing access to high-quality, affordable infant and toddler care;
  2. Supporting the early childhood workforce;
  3. Improving access to reproductive health services for adolescents and young adults; and
  4. Supporting young parents ages 24 and under, and their infants and toddlers.

Optional funding criteria are:

  1. Organizations or programs directly focused on further racial equity for Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color (BIPOC) or immigrants within one of the four funding priorities; or
  2. Projects addressing gaps caused by COVID-19 closures within one of the above four funding priorities

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Santa Fe 501(c)3 organizations may apply.

Organizations are eligible to apply to Santa Fe Baby Fund in 2020 even if you received a grant from Santa Fe Baby Fund or from one of Santa Fe Community Foundation’s “regular” competitive Community Grants cycle in 2019. However, organizations may NOT receive a grant from both Santa Fe Baby Fund and from one of Santa Fe Community Foundation’s “regular” competitive Community Grants in the same calendar year.
