Grants of up to $2,000 to Floyd County, Georgia K-12 art teachers in public and private schools for projects that improve and expand arts education opportunities for local students. Projects must reach a substantial number of children or provide an in-depth experience, support (but not supplant) district responsibilities, and fulfill a need unmet by other programs.

Up to $2,000 art grants and $2,000 performing art grants money will be awarded.

The Chiaha Arts Education Mini-Grants applications are open to K-12 art teachers in public and private schools in Floyd County.

Grant applications will be accepted now through September 18, 2017 and will be reviewed by Chiaha’s Board of Directors. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on the deadline date to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Grantees will be notified on or before October 19, 2017. Checks will be presented at Chiaha Harvest Fair 2017.
