A competition with prizes of up to NIS 40,000 is open to Israel student teams to create innovative social platforms and technological solutions. The purpose of this program is to cater to social needs while providing promising and talented students with the necessary experience and training to become tomorrow’s social entrepreneurs.
Teams will compete for monetary prizes for top three places, service packages provided by program sponsors, business development workshops that have additional value, plus three Social Tech accelerators will review the top teams for further partnerships.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
This program is open to teams of students from the following fields: Programmers, Business/Economics, Marketing/Communications, Psychology/Neurosciences/BrainStudies, Robotics/Mathematics, Design/Interactive/GUI/UX .
The registration is to be completed by the teams leader only. Applicants must provide a CV, no prior experience needed.
All applicants must form groups or use the Facebook page Team Finder to form groups. The program is designed for students with no developer experience. Participation is for 10 teams only, so be prepared and build strong teams.
Dates:
17/9 - Opening Event, Panel of need knowers and third age experts.
29-30/9 - Hackathon, 36 hours of business development and coding.
7/10 - Workshops
14/10 - Marketing Workshop, Communicating your innovation in an age of mass media.
25/10- Demonstration, winners Finals.
Students must be able to attend all events to be eligible for prizes.
