Grants to Canada low-income families to register children for sports programs or purchase sports equipment. Children may attend a broad range of qualifying sports programs within their province. Please note that the grants will be issued to sustained programs operated by Community Sports Organizations who hold membership with their respective Provincial Sport Organization.

Families can apply for up to $300 per child, per calendar year (January 1 - December 31st) to help offset the cost of organized sport registration and equipment. If you are requesting funds only for equipment the grant cannot exceed $200 per child.
